History:
During the last part of 2005 and the early parts of 2006 TFG started to work on more Jazz oriented compositions. Our Guitarist Mike was getting heavily influenced by his courses at San Jose State. Mike came up with the original progression and Rob and I sort of gelled into this 5/4 and 6/8 groove. The 3rd time we played it I wanted to record it for practice purposes. When I listened back to the recording in between the warts there was a kind of fire or magic to that session.
Later on after I told Mike and Rob that I posted it on one of my collab sites and people really liked it, they were not too happy with me. True Rob was using my beater kit and the sounds pretty much sucked but I still thing the fire of the session shone through our mistakes and bad sounds.
